About

My work always starts from the impulse of going outside, and is triggered by the unexpected encounters that occur while wandering and observing urban spaces. The tensions and contradictions that arise in the city; the new and the decaying, the controlled and the chaotic, the filled and the void, the natural and the constructed, the visible and the invisible, the transforming and the static among others; are the themes I return to, even if the perspective, approach and the scale change with each specific project.

My work is process-based. This means that the pieces you see here are not isolated objects but belong to ‘projects’ that often involve the accumulation of layers of time, journeys, gestures, and ideas.
